Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 11/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 large eggs(lightly beaten)
  • 1 can fruit cocktail (15 ounces)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

How To Make fruit cocktail cake

  • Step 1
    Mix flour,granulated sugar and baking soda together in large mixing bowl.Add eggs and fruit cocktail.mix and pour into a lightly greased and floured cake pan(a 13x9inch or two 8 inch cake pans)Sprinkle brown sugar and chopped walnuts over top of batter.
  • Step 2
    Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes or until tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean.Great served with cool whip topping
