This is an old recipe from one of our church cook books that I had the priveledge to help with.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 can fruit cocktail, canned
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 medium eggs beaten
  • ICING
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make fruit cocktail cake

  • Step 1
    Mix well do not beat, Bake in a greased 9x13 pan. 325* for30 min.
  • Step 2
    Boil margarine and milk over med heat for one minute Add remaining ing. and pour over cake while hot.
