Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 cups plain flour
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons soda
- 1 can fruit cocktail, canned (#303 can)
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- ICING
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make fruit cocktail cake

Step 1For cake: Mix all above ingredients together. Pour into large greased pyrex baking dish, and bake at 350 F. for 35 to 40 minutes. (After cake is done, leave it in the baking dish.)

Step 2For Icing: Mix all ingredients together in a sauce pan; cook for 1 minute after mixture starts to bubble, then spread on top of cake. Toast in the oven until it starts to turn a light brown.
