1 tspbaking soda
1 can(s)fruit cocktail, canned (do not drain)
1/2 cbrown sugar
1/2 cchopped nuts
How to Make Fruit Cocktail Cake
- Sift together flour, sugar, baking soda and salt
- Stir in fruit cocktail
- Add egg slightly beaten
- pour into greased cake pan 8" x 12"
- Mix brown sugar and nuts; sprinkle over batter.
- Bake in 350 deg oven for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
