This so easy to make and very good another one of my Grandma favorites.

Ingredients

  • CAKE:
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 can fruit cocktail, in heavy syrup (do not drain)
  • TOPPING:
  • 1 small bag grated coconut
  • 1 small bag chopped walnuts
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 can evaporated milk

How To Make fruit cocktail cake

  • Step 1
    CAKE: Preheat oven to 350 degree. Bake for 30 minutes.
  • Step 2
    TOPPING: Cook over medium heat sugar, butter and milk 10 minutes. Add coconut and walnuts. Pour over cake.
