  • CAKE

  • 1/2 c
    butter softened
  • 2 c
    white sugar
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 c
    over ripened bananas mashed
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • FROSTING

  • 1/4 c
    butter, softened
  • 4 oz
    cream cheese soft
  • 1 1/2 c
    possibly 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make frosted banana bars

Step-by-Step

  1. cream together butter,sugar,eggs,bananas,vanilla mix them very well then add salt baking soda mix well then add flour.
  2. pour in to a cooking sprayed 15x10 pan (you can not use a smaller pan it dose not work)bake at 350 25-30 min till cake tester comes out clean. allow to cool completely
  3. then make frosting
    beat; butter,cream cheese,vanilla in a medium bowl till creamy then slowly add powdered sugar till spreadable frosting consistency of your liking.
    spread over cooled bars keep leftovers refrigerated!
