This is a must at our July 4 th picnic. I have been making this cake for over 10 years and is the family favorite of all my cakes. Of this big cake I never have left overs.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 - eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 3 cups finely chopped fresh yellow peaches
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (walnut or pecan )
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 - 3oz cream cheese
  • 5 teaspoons peach juice puree
  • 1 1/2 cups powered sugar

How To Make fresh peach pound cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first 8 ingredients in order. Pour into greased tube pan. Bake 1 hour. Cool 10 minutes in pan. Place on cooling rack to cool completely.
  • Step 2
    Mix last 3 ingredients well and spoon over cake when cooled.
