This is one my favorite things growing up that I remember my mom making and still makes to this day...Thank you Mom!

4 - medium size apples
2 cups sugar
3 cups flour
2 - eggs
2 sticks butter
1 cup nuts of your choice
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon allspice ground
1/4 teaspoon nut meg

How To Make fresh apple cake

Step 1

Put sugar over apples and let stand for 10 minutes

Step 2

Melt butteer, add beaten eggs, sift flour and baking soda.
Step 3

Add Spices together and add nuts
Step 4

Stir until mixed.
Step 5

Bake 45 minutes in 375-degree oven
