An old favorite from the 80s while working in Texas and our group used to have "spreads". Texan for pot luck.

Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 box french vanilla instant pudding
- 1/3 cup poppy seeds
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
- 1/2 cup port wine or sherry
- 1 cup sour cream
- 4 large eggs
How To Make french vanilla poppy seed cake

Step 1Combine all ingredients into large mixing bowl.

Step 2Beat for 5 minutes.

Step 3Pour or spoon into greased and flour bundt pan. I use baking spray with flour in it.

Step 4Bake 325 degrees for 50 minutes to 1 hour.

Step 5Cool for 40 minutes and turn onto cake plate.
