My aunt was a fantastic baker. She baked a cheesecake that was super. I found this recipe, hoping that it is similiar to my aunt's baked cheesecake.

Ingredients For baked french cheese cake

    (8 oz. ) packages cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 tsp
    tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 pkg
    (16 oz.) sour cream
  • 6
    lg. eggs
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1/2 stick
    melted butter

How To Make baked french cheese cake

    Mix cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time. Whip well.

    Add sugar, vanilla, lemon juice, cornstarch, melted butter and last of all. Add sour cream.

    Pour into pan. Bake into springform pan in a pan of warm water at 450 degrees for 1 hour.
