This cake is loaded with sherry! It's always a hit and so easy to make. I also make it with a scratch cake recipe but have developed this quick and easy version which is just as good!

yellow cake mix
1 box
vanilla instant pudding mix, 6-oz.
3/4 c
canola oil
3/4 c
cream sherry
4 large
1/4 tsp
1/2 tsp


1/4 c
powdered sugar
1/2 c
cream sherry


2 c
powdered sugar
2 Tbsp
cream sherry

How to Make Fran's Sherry Cake


  • 1Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • 2Mix all ingredients except the powdered sugar on medium speed for 5 minutes. Mixture will be thick.
  • 3Pour into well greased bundt pan and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
  • 4While cooling mix 1/4 cup powdered sugar and 1/2 cup sherry. Poke holes in cake with a fork and drizzle while still in pan.
  • 5Turn out pan onto cooling rack. Mix glaze ingredients and pour over cake while still warm.
