How to Make Flip Cake
1Preheat oven to 375. Grease 11x17x1 cookie sheet
2Sift together 2 cups sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 2 cups flour.
3Bring to boil: 2 sticks margarine, 4 tablespoons cocoa, and 1 cup water
4Beat together: 2 eggs, 1 tablespoon vanilla, 1/2 cup sour milk (mix milk with 1 tablespoon vinegar), and 1 teaspoon baking soda.
5Mix everything together. Pour into greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes. Cool. Cut cake in half
Cook 4 tablespoons flour in 1 cup milk until thick. Let cool to lukewarm or room temp.
7Cream 1 cup shortening, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 1 cup sugar together.
8Add flour mixture and beat well
9Spread on half the cake. Flip second half on top
