  • 2 stick
    butter, softened
  • 3 c
  • 5
    eggs, well beaten
  • 3 c
    plain flour, sifted
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 c
  • 1 tsp
    coconut extract
  • 1 tsp
    rum extract
  • 1 tsp
    butter flavoring
  • 1 tsp
    lemon extract
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable shortening

How to Make Five Flavor Pound Cake


  1. Cream butter, shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat until lemon colored. Combine flour and baking powder and add to creamed mixture, alternating with milk. Stir in flavorings. Spoon into a greased and floured tub pan. Place in a preheated 325 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours.
