Ingredients For favorite chocolate cake

1 3/4 call purpose flour

2 cgranulated sugar

3/4 cunsweetened baking cocoa

2 tspbaking soda
-
1 tspbaking powder
-
1 tspsalt
-
2eggs
-
1 cstrong black coffee, cooled
-
1 cbuttermilk
-
1/2 cvegetable oil
-
1 tspvanilla extract
- FROSTING INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cmargarine, softened
-
2 ozunsweetened baking chocolate, melted and cooled

3 cconfectioners' sugar
-
3 Tbspmilk
-
2 tspvanilla extract
How To Make favorite chocolate cake

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

2Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powser, and salt. Add eggs, coffee, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla, Beat at medium speed for two minutes. (Batter will be thin). Pour batter into prepared pans.

3Bake for 30-35 minutes.

4Frosting: Combine all frosting ingredients with a hand mixer. Spread frosting on cooled cakes. (I freeze my cakes first and then frost them while still frozen)
