My favorite aunt, (I won't give a name!) made this delicious cake and I finally talked her out of the recipe! Be sure to start with a cold oven.

- 2 sticks oleo
- 1 stick butter
- 6 - eggs
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 3 cups sugar, sifted
- 2 cups flour, sifted
- 3 teaspoons vanilla
How To Make favorite aunt's pound cake

Step 1Cream together butter and oleo. Add 2 eggs, then cream cheese and sugar. Mix in 1 cup flour. Add 2 eggs and mix in 1 cup flour. Mix in last 2 eggs and vanilla. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake in cold start oven 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees.
