So, there are hundreds of apple cake recipes out there, so what makes this one special? Besides the fact that it is so moist, I think the addition of a little nutmeg adds an extra special touch of deliciousness! If you're game to try another apple cake recipe, I know you will not be disappointed!! I think it is the best!!!

Ingredients For fall spiced apple cake

  • 2 c
    peeled and chopped apples
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1 c
    vegetable oil (or oil of choice)
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 2 1/2 c
    self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • BROWN SUGAR GLAZE
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 stick
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    milk

How To Make fall spiced apple cake

    Preheat the oven to 350.
  • 2
    Using an electric mixer on low speed, combine oil, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and milk. Sift together flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Gradually blend together creamy mixture with dry mixture. Add chopped apples and pecans.

    Grease and lightly flour a Bundt pan. Pour batter into pan and bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of cake comes out clean. Cool.

    In saucepan, combine all ingredients for glaze. Cook over low medium heat until sugar is dissolved and mixture is smooth (it will be liquidy). Drizzle over cooled cake.
