So, there are hundreds of apple cake recipes out there, so what makes this one special? Besides the fact that it is so moist, I think the addition of a little nutmeg adds an extra special touch of deliciousness! If you're game to try another apple cake recipe, I know you will not be disappointed!! I think it is the best!!!

Ingredients
- 2 cups peeled and chopped apples
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup vegetable oil (or oil of choice)
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 - eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 1/2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- BROWN SUGAR GLAZE
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/2 cup milk
How To Make fall spiced apple cake

Step 1Preheat the oven to 350.

Step 2Using an electric mixer on low speed, combine oil, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and milk. Sift together flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Gradually blend together creamy mixture with dry mixture. Add chopped apples and pecans.

Step 3Grease and lightly flour a Bundt pan. Pour batter into pan and bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of cake comes out clean. Cool.

Step 4In saucepan, combine all ingredients for glaze. Cook over low medium heat until sugar is dissolved and mixture is smooth (it will be liquidy). Drizzle over cooled cake.
