I can never go wrong with making a chocolate cake for a brithday, holiday or just cause its Wednessday. I love chocolate, my family loves it & so does my friends.

Ingredients
- 6 - semi-sweet chocolate, squares
- 3/4 cup butter, room temperature
- 1-1/2 cup sugar
- 3 - egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2-1/2 cup all purpose flour, divided
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/2 cup water
How To Make every easy chocolate cake

Step 1First preheat the oven to 350F. In a large bowl microwave the chocolate & butter on high for about 2 mins or until butter is melted. Stir chocolate to melt completley. Then stir in the sugar. Then add in the eggs 1 at a time,beat well until well mixed. Then add in the vanilla & mix well.

Step 2Next add in the 1/2 cup flour, baking soda & slat beat well. Then add in the remaning 2 cups of the flour alternately with the water. Then pour into 2 greased & flour 9 inch round cake pans.

Step 3Then bake for about 35 mins or until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool in the pans for about 10 mins. Then remove from the pans & cool completely on a wire rack. Then spread with your favorite frosting.

Step 4Special Note: I used a just a chocolate can frosting.
