We got this recipe from a family friend (Elaine) and don't know where she got it from but its a favorite for me and all my siblings.

Ingredients
- FILLING
- 8 ounces package of creamcheese
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 - egg
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- CUPCAKES
- 1 1/2 cups unsifted all purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make elaine's creamcheese cupcakes

Step 1FILLING: Combine creamcheese, sugar, and egg and beat until smooth. Add chocolate chips; set aside.

Step 2CUPCAKES: Combine ingredients in order listed in a large mixing bowl, blending well on low speed.

Step 3Fill 24 baking cups in a muffin pan halfway full with batter.

Step 4Spoon about 1 tablespoon of creamcheese filling onto each cupcake.

Step 5Bake at 350* for about 20 minutes.
