this pound cake is very loved by everyone in this house it's one that i take to church and to other dinners

Ingredients

  • 1 package (16 oz) pound cake mix
  • 1 1/4 cups eggnog
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make eggnog pound cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350.
  • Step 2
    Beat all ingredients together at low speed with an electric mixer until blended.
  • Step 3
    Increase speed to medium and beat 2 minutes. Pour into a lightly greased 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 5 minutes or until a long wooden pick inserted into center comes out clean.
  • Step 5
    Cool in pan on a wire rack 10 minutes. Remove from pan to wire rack and cool completely (about 1 hour).
