How to Make EGGNOG POUND CAKE
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a loaf pan. In mixing bowl beat on low speed sugar,butter,rum,vanilla and egg yolks for 30 seconds.
- scrape bowl constantly. Then put mixer on high and beat for 3 minutes. While batter is mixing, in smaller mixing bowl combine flour,baking powder,salt and nutmeg.
- Turn mixer back down to low and add flour mixture a little at a time. Then add some milk do this back and forth until all is mixed in with pound cake batter.
- Pour into loaf pan and bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in loaf pan for at least 10 minutes before removing.
