Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cups egg nog
- 1 cup butter,softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
How To Make egg nog filling for cake

Step 1Combine flour and a small amount of eggnog in a pan; stir until smooth.

Step 2Stir in remaining eggnog; bring to a boil, stirring constantly...I use a whisk for this.

Step 3Cook and stir constantly for 2 minutes.

Step 4Cool COMPLETELY.

Step 5In large bowl or using stand mixer,cream butter and sugar; add vanilla and nutmeg.

Step 6Gradually beat in cooled eggnog mixture...split 2 layer cake and use filling on three layers.
