I got this recipe out of an old cook book that was placed in a Christmas cookbook in the lincoln county journal. My grandbabies love it. Its easy to make.

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
1 pint strawberries ( fresh or frozen)
1 package marshmallows, mini
- whipped topping

How To Make easy strawberry suprise cake

Step 1

Grease and lighty flour 13"x9" cake pan preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2

Cover botton of pan with marshmallows.
Step 3

Prepare cake mix as directed on box.Pour over marshmallows.
Step 4

Spoon strawberries on top of cake mix.The marshmallows will come tothe top and the strawberries will go to the bottom.
Step 5

Bake about 30-35 minutes.
Step 6

Serve with whipped topping.
