I have made this a few times and it turns out so moist and yummy I cant keep it around for more then two days :) I hope everyone enjoys this recipe for rum cake!

Ingredients

  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1 package vanilla pudding
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup preferred rum
  • GLAZE
  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup preferred rum

How To Make easy rum cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour bundt pan.
  • Step 2
    Mix cake mix, pudding, eggs, water, oil and rum and Bake for 1 hour.
  • Step 3
    While cake is cooling melt the butter for glaze in a sauce pan, stir in sugar and water. Allow it to boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in rum.
  • Step 4
    Prick the cake all over with a fork and drizzle the glaze slowly until all of it is absorbed.
