I had to make something for the church choir Christmas party. I found these ingredients in my pantry. I think it turned out great!

Ingredients

1 box
yellow cake mix
1 can(s)
pumpkin, canned or cooked
1 can(s)
evaporated milk
3
eggs
1/2 c
confectioners' sugar
1/4 c
milk
1 pinch
each nutmeg and cinnamon

How to Make Easy Pumpkin Cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • 2Spray non stick spray on 9x13 inch pan
  • 3Combine cake mix, pumpkin, evaporated milk and eggs.
  • 4Add nutmeg and cinnamon to taste.
  • 5Pour batter into pan and bake until cake pulls away from the sides of the pan and top is golden brown.
  • 6While cake is cooling, poke holes in it using a piece of dried spaghetti. Mix confectioners' sugar and milk to make a thin glaze. Pour confectioners' sugar/milk glaze over the cake.
  • 7Refrigerate at least an hour to allow the flavors to marry. 24 hours would be better.
