easy pound cake

Yummy and easy. My husband so loves this cake that whenever we need to bring someone some home cooked treat he always wants me to make this. Got this recipe off of a cake mix package but like usual had to doctor it up and then came up with different variations.... Here are ones that I have done. Used chocolate cake & chocolate pudding mix & regular chocolate chips. Used yellow cake, cheesecake pudding, & white chocolate chips (also made it with regular chocolate chips in this variation too)..

Ingredients
- 1 package cake mix
- 1 package (4 serving size) instant pudding mix
- 4 - eggs
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup chips (such as chocolate, white) **see note
- 1 tablespoon flour
- - powdered sugar or glaze of your choice (optional)
How To Make easy pound cake

Step 1Grease & flour a bundt pan. Preheat oven to 350.

Step 2In large bowl combine cake mix, pudding (dry), eggs, water & oil. Mix on medium high speed for 2 minutes scraping down sides of bowl.

Step 3In small bowl put chocolate chips, sprinkle flour over chips, mixing well to coat chips. Dump mixture into cake batter mixing well by hand to incorporate chips.

Step 4Pour into pan and bake for about 50-60 minutes or until a tootpick in center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 25 minutes and invert onto heat resistant serving plate. When cool you can glaze it or sprinkle with powdered sugar (this is what I do).
