yellow cake mix
1 c
light brown sugar
1 stick
butter
1 can(s)
(14.5 oz) sliced pineapple
maraschino cherries

Step-by-Step

  • 1Mix yellow cake mix as directed on pkg using juice from pineapple instead, add water to make up necessary amount called for if needed.
  • 2Melt butter and brown sugar over low heat in a 10-inch cast iron skillet.
  • 3Place pineapple rings into butter/brown sugar mixture in pan and put cherries in rings. Pour cake batter on top.
  • 4Bake at 350 for 1 hr. Let stand for 5 mins and flip over onto large cake plate.
