1 (16.5 oz package lemon cake mix
- ingredients listed on the cake mix box
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup powdered sugar
4 teaspoons lemon juice

How To Make easy lemon spice cake

Step 1

Prepare the cake according to the directions on the package but add the cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger to the batter before baking.

Step 2

While cake is cooling prepare the glaze as follows:

Whisk together the powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
Step 4

Place the cake on a serving dish.
Step 5

Drizzle the glaze over the cake.
Step 6

Let it set for 20 minutes before serving.
