- Prepare cake as directed on box for 2(8-or9 inch)cake layers, except add 1 package of dry pudding mix to batter. Remove to wire racks and let cool completely.
- Whisk other package of pudding with the milk. Spread between cake layers.
- Frost top and sides with a thin layer of the icing. Whisk conf sugar into cool whip, frost top and sides of cakes.
