My daughter loves anything w/ cherries, so she loves when I make this cake. I love it, because it's so easy to make.

devil's food cake mix w/ pudding
1
21 oz can cherry pie filling
2 large
eggs
1 tsp
vanilla
1 c
sugar
1/3 c
butter
1/3 c
milk
1 c
semisweet chocolate chips.

How to Make Easy fudgy cherry cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Heat oven to 350. Spray a 9" x 13" pan w/ cooking spray. In bowl, blend together cake mix, pie filling, eggs and vanilla. Pour into pan.
  • 2Bake 30 mins, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. In saucepan, heat sugar, butter and milk to a boil, stirring constantly.
  • 3Reduce heat to a simmer for 1 mins. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Pour over cooled cake. Let set.
