My daughter loves anything w/ cherries, so she loves when I make this cake. I love it, because it's so easy to make.

Ingredients

1 package devil's food cake mix w/ pudding
1 - 21 oz can cherry pie filling
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup milk
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips.

How To Make easy fudgy cherry cake

Step 1

Heat oven to 350. Spray a 9" x 13" pan w/ cooking spray. In bowl, blend together cake mix, pie filling, eggs and vanilla. Pour into pan.

Step 2

Bake 30 mins, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. In saucepan, heat sugar, butter and milk to a boil, stirring constantly.
Step 3

Reduce heat to a simmer for 1 mins. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Pour over cooled cake. Let set.
