Ingredients

3 large eggs
1-1/2 cup plus 3 tbsp sugar, divided
3/4 cup vegetable oil , or canola oil
1/4 cup orange juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 - 21 oz can cherry or apple pie filling
1 teaspoon cinnamon

How To Make easy fruit-filled coffe cake

Step 1

Heat oven to 350. Spray a 9" x 13" pan w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, cream together eggs, 1-1/2 cups sugar, oil, orange juice and vanilla. Beat in both flours and baking powder.

Step 2

Pour 1/2 the batter into pan. Spread fruit filling over batter in pan. In small bowl, combine remaining sugar and cinnamon.
Step 3

Sprinkle 1 tsp of cinnamon mix over fruit. Spoon remaining batter over ingredients in pan. Sprinkle w/ remaining cinnamon mix. Bake 15 mins. Reduce heat to 300. Bake 1 hr, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
