Ingredients

1/2 cup milk (2% or higher fat content)
2 tablespoons flour
1 stick butter or oleo, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

How To Make easy frosting #1-lj

Step 1

Blend flour and milk well. Cook until thick, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Cool completely.

Step 2

Place softened butter, sugar, vanilla, and milk mixture in mixing bowl. Beat on high speed until it clumps on the beaters. Could take upwards off 15-20 minutes with lower fat milk.
Step 3

This recipe does not work well with 1/2% or skim milk.
