  • 3 cups plain flour
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup Crisco
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla flavoring
  • 6 - eggs
  • 4 tablespoons Cocoa

How To Make easy chocolate pound cake

  • Step 1
    Grease and flour tube pan. Heat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Put all ingredients in large bowl of mixer and beat at medium speed for 10 minutes, scraping down bowl and from bottom often. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 1 hour 15 minutes. Test by inserting a toothpick into the center of the cake to see if it comes out clean.
