Easy to make when the chocolate cravings hit. This is also a hit at my office when we have a covered dish lunch.

Ingredients

1 stick
margarine, softened
1 c
sugar
4 large
eggs
1 can(s)
(16oz) chocolate syrup
1 c
self rising flour

ICING INGREDIENTS

1 stick
margarine
1 c
sugar
1/2 c
evaporated milk
1/2 c
chocolate chips

How to Make Easy Chocolate Cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Beat margarine and sugar together in mixing bowl. Beat in eggs until fluffy. Add syrup and blend.
  • 2Stir in flour and beat well.
  • 3Pour batter into buttered and floured 9x13 baking pan. Bake in 325 degree oven 25-30 minutes, or until cake test done. Cool and frost.
  • 4Icing
    1 stick margarine
    1 cup sugar 1/2 cup evaporated milk
    1/2 cup cholocate chips

    Bring margarine, sugar and milk to boil. Add cholocate chips. Stir until well mixed. Pour over cake.
