Ingredients
- 1 package yellow cake mix . pudding type
- - oil and eggs as called for on cake mix package
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 can (21 ounces) cherry pie filling
- - powdered sugar, sifted
How To Make easy cherry cake

Step 1Prepare cake mix according to package directions, using oil or butter and eggs, and reducing the water to 1/2 cup.

Step 2Spread batter into a greased and floured 13x9x2-inch baking pan.

Step 3Spoon cherry pie filling evenly over the batter, then swirl into the batter just enough to give a marbled effect.

Step 4Bake cake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes, until cake bounces back when lightly touched.

Step 5Cool and sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar.
