Step 1PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES. WITH A HAND MIXER AT MEDIUM SPEED, COMBINE FIRST 3 INGREDIENTS UNTIL WELL BLENDED. THEN ADD EGGS AND BLEND WELL. NEXT ADD 1/2 CUP OF THE CHOCOLATE CHIPS, STIR UNTIL MIXED.

Step 2POUR THE MIXTURE INTO THE PREPARED PIE CRUST. SPRINKLE ADDITIONAL CHOCOLATE CHIPS OVER THE TOP.

Step 3BAKE PIE FOR 40 MINUTES OR UNTIL CENTER IS ALMOST SET. REMOVE FROM OVEN AND ALLOW TO COOL. FOR BEST RESULTS, REFRIGERATE FOR 3 HOURS BEFORE SERVING.
