I got this recipe from a magazine a while back, don't remember which one. But, these are perfect for a christmas eve treat.

Ingredients

10 tablespoons brownie mix from a box, like duncan's
3 tablespoons canola oil
2 tablespoons beaten egg
1 tablespoon water
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- cool whip and crushed candy canes for garnish

How To Make easy brownie mug cake w/ peppermint

Step 1

In bowl, mix together brownie mix, oil, egg, water and extract. Spray lightly 2 coffee mugs w/ cooking spray.

Step 2

Divide batter evenly into mugs. Microwave on high for 1-1/2 mins, or until cake starts to pull away from mug. Cool 1 mins. Remove cake from mug, if desired. Top w/ cool whip and some crushed candy canes.
