Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, unsalted
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk or sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts or mini chocolate chips

How To Make banana snack cake

  • Step 1
    In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat in bananas and vanilla.
  • Step 2
    Combine dry ingredients; add to the creamed mixture alternately with the buttermilk. Stir in the nuts.
  • Step 3
    Pour into a greased 9 X 13 inch baking pan. Bake st 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool on a wire rack Frost with a cream cheese frosting or a chocolate frosting,.,
