This delicious, easy apple pecan cake was made by Kathy Nichols and well received at the May meeting of Curious Cuisiners.

Ingredients

2 cans apple pie filling
1 box butter pecan cake mix
1/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup chopped pecans
1 stick butter
- cinnamon (optional)

How To Make easy apple pecan cake

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread apple pie filling in the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over the apples. Sprinkle with sugar and pecans.

Step 2

Melt butter and drizzle over top of cake. Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
Step 3

Bake 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees.
