A super easy autumnal recipe that I was given by my aunt. It's super delicious and we make it every fall!

Ingredients

5-7 - apples
1 box yellow cake mix
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 stick butter (do not substitute)

How To Make easy apple cake

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F

Step 2

Peel, core and slice apples (peeling is optional).
Step 3

Place apples on the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Sprinkle the apples with dry cake mix. Combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the cake mix. Melt butter and drizzle over everything.
Step 4

Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown
