This looks so pretty, and is scrumptious with green tinted coconut and jelly beans on it. can be a layer cake or 13 x 9 . I use 7 minute frosting on this particular cake.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup soft butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups light corn syrup
  • 2 - eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetble oil

How To Make easter cake

  • Step 1
    preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Step 2
    grease and flour baking pan, or use cooking spray
  • Step 3
    cream butter, sugar and corn syrup in large bowl. add eggs and beat until light and fluffy. about 1 minute.
  • Step 4
    sift dry ingredients together. add oil to milk and add to batter alternately with dry ingredients, beating after each addition until all is used.
  • Step 5
    pour into prepared pan (s) . bake 20-30 minutes. when cool frost with 7 minute frosting. sprinkle with tinted coconut and some jelly beans.
