  • 1 c
    pecans or walnuts, chopped
  • 1 box
    cake mix, german chocolate
  • 1 stick
    margarine, room temperature
  • 1 lb
    powdered sugar
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 2
  • 1/3 c

How to Make Earthquake Cake


  1. Grease a 9X13 cake pan. Cover the bottom with coconut then chopped nuts.
  2. Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Pour over the nuts and coconut.
  3. Combine Margarine, cream cheese, & powdered sugar. Mix until smooth, Spoon over cakemix. Do not stir
  4. Bake at 325 degrees for one hour.
