It's a good idea for get togethers... it's quick and easy and tastes delicious with frosting!

Ingredients

1 can crushed pineapple in juice
1 can cherry pie filling
1 box cake mix, yellow
1 stick butter
1/2 cup chopped nuts

How To Make dump cake

Step 1

in a 13x9 pan, layer the crushed pineapple (do not drain), cherry pie filling, dry cake mix and chopped nuts.

Step 2

slice the butter into thin strips (I use the slicing side of a cheese grater) place the butter over the top making sure to cover completely. Freeze butter first for easier handling.
Step 3

bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 50-55 minutes until golden brown on top. Frost with your favorite frosting if desired or top with ice cream.
