How to Make Dump Cake
- in a 13x9 pan, layer the crushed pineapple (do not drain), cherry pie filling, dry cake mix and chopped nuts.
- slice the butter into thin strips (I use the slicing side of a cheese grater) place the butter over the top making sure to cover completely. Freeze butter first for easier handling.
- bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 50-55 minutes until golden brown on top. Frost with your favorite frosting if desired or top with ice cream.
