Drema's Moist Banana Bread
This bread is actually better - later! Once the bread is cooled I pre-slice with a serrated edge knife - keeping slices intact. Wrap immediately in couple layers of plastic wrap tightly and refrigerate.
This does well frozen and made ahead for unexpected guests with needs!

1 1/2 cgranulated sugar
1/2 cmargerine or butter
2eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 tspbaking powder
1/2 tspbaking soda
1 1/2 cflour
1/2 cpecans, chopped
3 largebananas, very ripe, mashed
1 tspvanilla extract, pure
How to Make Drema's Moist Banana Bread
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease and lightly flour a loaf pan (approximately 8 x 5).
- In large mixing bowl combine and blend sugar, butter and beaten eggs.
- In smaller bowl sift together the flour, soda and baking powder. Add these dry ingredients to the above mixture. Stir well. Add mashed bananas and chopped pecans and vanilla.
- Bake at 375 degrees F for 1 hour.
