Thanks to my Aunt Ruthie I learned this quick recipe for a fast dessert. Thank you! Wanted to share with you all. Any fruit would work but cherry are our personal fave with this!

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
1 can crushed pineapple, lge
2 cans cherry pie filling
2 sticks butter or margarine, melted
1/2 cup coconut flaked (optional)
1 cup pecans, chopped or pieces

How To Make drema's "dump" cake

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a non-stick coating in bottom of oblong baking pan - glass preferably. Wipe out excess with paper towel.

Step 2

Spread pineapple and juice in bottom of dish. Pour or spread pie filling on top of pineapple. Sprinkle dry cake mix over top of this. Sprinkle with coconut if using and then top with pecans. Pour melted butter over top of all and place in oven. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees F. Enjoy! *Blueberry, strawberry or blackberry! Yummy!
