double the streusel coffee cake
I found this recipe over at Food.com(A.K.A. "ZAAR "),and the lady by the name of Hazeleyes gave me permission to post the recipe here.I sure hope you enjoy it as much as I have.The recipe name is hers but I changed the directions a bit to make it easier.Posted here on June 8th.,2011. P.S. If you like a lot of streusel,your really going to like this recipe.:)

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 - large egg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- STREUSEL MIXTURE
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 3 tablespoons butter,melted
How To Make double the streusel coffee cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2Mix together streusel ingredients and set aside.

Step 3In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder and salt then add the sugar.

Step 4Blend the 1/4 cup oil into the flour and sugar mixture until it is like cornmeal texture.

Step 5In another bowl, combine the egg, milk and vanilla.

Step 6Add to the flour mixture and with an electric mixer on low,mix until just combined.

Step 7Pour 1/2 mixture in a greased 8x 8 inch pan.

Step 8By teaspoonfuls,dot half of streusel ingredients over batter.

Step 9Pour remaining batter on top of the streusel,then by teaspoonfuls dot remaining streusel topping over the batter.

Step 10Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes. (p.s. you could make a powdered sugar glaze,but personally I don't think you need it.
