Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

How To Make double chocolate cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350*
  • Step 2
    Mix ingredients together until smooth. Place in greased 9x13 pan. Bake for 30-40 minutes.
  • Step 3
    FOR FROSTING, combine 1c. sugar, 1/4 c. cocoa, 1/4 C. milk & 1/2 c. butter in saucepan. Bring to boil for 1 minute. Poke holes in hot cake with a fork. Pour hot frosting over cake.
