Ingredients
- 5 ounces semisweet chocolate, melted
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- - salt
- 2 ounces white chocolate, cut in 1/2 pieces
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- TOPPING INGREDIENTS
- 1 ounce white chocolate, melted
- 1 ounce semisweet chocolate, melted
How To Make double chocolate brownies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Butter an 8 or 9 inch square baking pan.

Step 3Line pan with with parchment paper or waxed paper.

Step 4Combine melted chocolate with melted butter.

Step 5With a whisk, beat eggs with sugar and vanilla. Beat in chocolate mixture.

Step 6Stir flour with baking powder and salt.

Step 7Stir flour mixture into chocolate mixture and stir in white chocolate and pecans.

Step 8Pour batter into prepared pan and bake 30 minutes. (Brownies may appear to be underbaked but will set when chilled).

Step 9Cool, and do not worry if sides are slightly higher than middle.

Step 10Just press sides down as brownies cool and drizzle melted white and dark chocolate in a zigzag pattern on top uncut brownies.

Step 11Allow to rest at room temperature 1/2 hour and cut into squares.

Step 12Chill.
