2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 cup cocoa powder
INGREDIENTS FOR DIY CAKE MIX
3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
3 eggs

How To Make diy chocolate cake mix

Step 1

For Cake mix, mix flour,sugar,baking powder and cocoa powder and mix well. If not using right away store in a airtight container or ziploc gallon sized bag.

Step 2

To Make The Cake: Mix the cake mix with milk, vanilla extract, butter and eggs. Beat well with a mixer for 2 minutes.
Step 3

Pour batter in 13x9 pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Evenly spread batter in pan, Then bake in preheated oven of 350 for 35-40 minutes.
Step 4

Once done baking remove from oven and place on counter to cool completely.
Step 5

Once completely cooled, I made chocolate frosting for the cake which is: 1/4 C. butter, melted 1/3 C. cocoa powder 2 C. Powdered sugar 3 T. milk
Step 6

Add cocoa powder to melted butter and whisk until smooth. Then add in powdered sugar and milk, whisk until smooth. Spread over cooled cake. Enjoy.
