I just made these up from just things that we like in other recipes. Everyone that I have given these to really like them. Hope other people will try them and enjoy them just as much.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg
    yellow cake mix
  • 1 1/2 c
    quick cooking oats
  • 1 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 1
    egg
  • ·
    This is the base.
  • ·
    This is the Filling
  • 1 can(s)
    ready to spread vanilla frosting
  • 8oz.
    softened cream cheese
  • 2
    eggs

How to Make Dessert Bar Delights

Step-by-Step

  1. Grease a 13x9 pan. In a large bowl combine base mixture with hands until crumbly. Reserve 2 cups of base mixture. Press remaining mixture into bottom of pan.
  2. In another large bowl combine filling ingredients and beat at high speed until creamy. pour over pressed base mixture and sprinkle 2 cups reserved base mixture over filling. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
