This is a favorite in my family, my grand kids request it often and my 13 yr. old granddaughter has learned to make it. It is very easy to make. It is light and fluffy and delicious, it is good for all seasons.

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix ( i use duncan hines )
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1 box lemon jello
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup salad oil
  • 2 - fresh lemons
  • 1 - lemon rind, grated
  • ICING:
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • - juice of 2 fresh lemons
  • - grated lemon rind

How To Make delicious yellow lemon cake

  • Step 1
    Mix cake mix, eggs, jello, water, and salad oil. Beat 4 min.
  • Step 2
    Bake in greased and flowered 9x13 inch pan for 45 min @350 (325 glass pan)
  • Step 3
    As soon as cake is removed from oven, poke full of holes, using a long prong meat fork.
  • Step 4
    Immediately dribble icing.
